One of the things I wanted to accomplish when I began my internet business was to give my visitors a better experience than they could find anywhere else.
You see, as the mother of four incredible young boys, who are now young men, food always seems a big part of our lives. Let's face it, guys love to eat (something any mom of teenage boys knows only too well!)
I was diagnosed with MS several years back and my ability to stand is one of the many things that have been compromised. However, the guys still need quality food to eat and the need for good food is a paramount fact of life.
I'm not a quitter, and giving up and settling for processed "food" out of a box just wasn't good enough. I need to provide my boys with healthy, nutritious meals. This determination is reflected in all my websites because I found it very difficult to find simple, nutritious, appealing recipes anywhere.
Frankly, I'm ashamed at what some of my fellow entrepreneurs put out there. It's about as good as the stuff in the boxes I refused to feed my family.
This is what I try to reflect in every food website I set out to build - plain, simple quality, from the articles on the home page to the recipes in the different categories inside. This is the same whether it is in one of our main course sites like MexicanFoodRecipes.org or one of our dessert sites like JelloRecipes.net.
My latest venture into food is something many people consider a bit of a luxury, but when you put crab into salad, it stretches a lot farther. Crab salad offers that quintessential summer meal that brings to mind relaxing days at the beach, eating seafood and collecting seashells.
With all the different varieties of crab on the market, you can enjoy these recipes any time. Imitation crab has improved immensely over the years since it was first introduced; many of these recipes are equally as good when you use more affordable imitation crab. Some of them are even better with the imitation crab than with the real thing!
From the simplest salad of lettuce with delectable morsels of crab nestled on top to the more complex salads featuring all sorts of vegetables and pasta, there is a crab salad for every occasion. Some salads can be made the day before, while others need to be put together at the last moment for that amazing flavor.
Crab salad is a great dish when the weather is hot. The crab is buttery and tender. Serve it with dressing or without. These salads can be side dishes, appetizers, or main courses. Let crab take the stage and make your meal into a star.
Crabsalads.com is our newest project and we are very proud of it. Since we have cut down the number of sites we have to make each and every one as good as it could be, taking on a new site is a major undertaking. We spent the past year pruning back many of our sites so we could focus on making those we kept into something really special.
We managed to pare our sites down dramatically, taking more than a hundred sites offline as we focused on a core group of food sites that we have set out to make true authority sites on each and every category we cover. We decided to make a major investment into new content, a new, upgraded, entirely CSS-based design, and pages loaded with even more content than ever before.
Each recipe page is full of totally unique recipe content and specialty food content along with unique seafood articles with the unique food perspective of a very talented group of writers, foodies, and cooks that have put their all into bringing the best possible food content to the web. Hundreds of hours of research and writing, design and coding have gone into every page of this site and others that we run.
We hope you are pleased with the results we have achieved. If you are, then why not pass the site around at your favorite social bookmark site and let others know what you have discovered?
We truly appreciate your votes and it helps us concentrate on what we do best - provide all the best food content and the recipes you love to cook.
Thanks for visiting,
Christine and Everyone here at CrabSalads.com
